Alastair has worked in and around the media for almost four decade. He started his professional life as a journalist, quickly progressing Editor of the South Wales Echo. In 2005, he founded the highly successful public relations agency Effective Communication, of which he is still managing director today.

Alastair has developed a reputation for stakeholder engagement, strategic planning and crisis communications, working closely with director/board level teams for high-profile organisations in the private, public and third sectors.

He is an experienced executive and non-executive board member, and is delighted to be supporting Two Rhythms through his board role.
